(50 +) Place-Based Community Engagement Symposium

Event Description:

SMU Engage Dallas is a place-based community engagement initiative via SMU’s Residential Commons to address community needs focusing on South and West Dallas. Annually, we host a place-based community engagement symposium for local college and university campus stakeholders, community partners, and local civic leaders. The theme for this year’s event is Listening, Learning & Leading Locally: A Place-Based Approach to Amplifying Community Champions and Mobilizing the Next Generation. We will host general sessions as well as breakout sessions.
